Arvind K Garg elected ICEMA?s new President

Arvind K Garg, Executive Vice-President & Head, Construction & Mining Machinery, Larsen & Toubro Limited, has been elected as the President of Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers? Association (ICEMA) for the term 2017-19. This was decided at the ICEMA?s Annual General Meeting held in New Delhi recently. He has earlier served as the Vice-President for 2015-17.

Liebherr mobile crane assembles concrete mixing plant

ESB Kranverleih Transport und Hebetechnik GmbH based in Mittelbiberach in Upper Swabia, assembled a Liebherr concrete mixing plant using Liebherr mobile cranes. The Betomix 2.5 RIM plant with a mixer size of 2.5 cu m was assembled in a gravel plant just a few kilometres from the Liebherr concrete technology production works in Bad Schussenried.

Liebherr mobile crane helping in world?s tallest wind turbines erection

The tallest wind turbines in the world are currently being erected near Schw?bisch Hall in the north-east of Baden-W?rttemberg. The Max B?gl Group is erecting four turbines with a total height of 240 m which will stand on enormous water basins. A Liebherr mobile crane has now erected the 40-m high active basins.

Manitowoc crawler cranes at new bucks arena in Milwaukee

A fleet of Manitowoc crawler cranes is engaged in a crucial lifting work at the ongoing construction of a new $524 million, multi-purpose arena in downtown Milwaukee. Dubbed the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center, the arena will replace the aging Bradley Center and serve as the new home of the Milwaukee Bucks.
